Painting
Inspired by the diverse approach to drawing experienced from an ongoing Drawing Module with Mary Avril Gillan (now Head of Faculty - CORE Year NCAD), this stint in the Paint studio focussed on drawing as a starting point. Not far removed from the earlier approach to the CORE Year Consolidation project. The first drawings in the gallery relate to the Artist's studio space in its entirety and the remainder lead into Painting, with a miniature Virgin Mary statue used as an object to inspire the remaining work.
