Year 2 Design
Ceramics

Having primarily worked through drawing and painting, this re-connection with Ceramics in Year Two of the B.Ed. was especially important as modelling is an important craft taught at Second Level. An introduction to a variety of clays, glazes, oxides and firing procedures was beneficial for teaching purposes.
Over a 10 day period in studio; a number of clay test tiles were created in order to sample a multitude of glazes and record the outcomes, for future reference. art teacher
