Year 2 Self Directed Drawing
Project 2

The source and starting point for the second Self-Directed Drawing Project was The Natural History Museum. The on site drawings that were of most intrigue from this location were multiple blind drawings based off of birds and flat fish displayed at the Museum. The basis of this work stemmed from the use of layered black and white positive and negative cut-out shapes from these drawings.

Layering, light, photography, shadow, shapes, manipulation, casting, tracing, layering, weaving, light and dark - all elements that formed the basis of the work created from the Natural History Museum visit.
