Born in County Sligo, Ireland, Adam is a graduate of the BA (Hons) Art and Design Education Degree from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin http://www.ncad.ie/ - a recognised college of The University College Dublin http://www.ucd.ie/.
He graduated in 2015 and has been teaching Art and Design at Second level since, having spent two years as classroom teacher and one year as Acting Head of Department at Lea Manor High School Luton, UK (2015-18). He returned to Ireland in 2018 teaching Art and LCVP at Loreto Abbey Secondary School, Co. Dublin (2018-21) and he is currently working in a brand new start up school in Ballincollig, Co. Cork, Le Chéile Secondary School (2021-present).

His recent studies include the H.Dip in Theological Studies through St. Patrick's University Maynooth https://sppu.ie/ (2021), the Post Graduate Certificate in 21st Century Teaching and Learning through Trinity College Dublin https://www.tcd.ie/ (2020) and he is currently undertaking the Postgraduate Diploma in School Leadership through the University of Limerick https://www.ul.ie/.
He has a broad artistic skill set, pursuing his own personal Painting practice in both two and three-dimensions and creating commissioned work for clients.
